We start the day in the Arkansas. Arkansas claims to be The Natural State. I guess it doesn't have any artificial flavoring, coloring, or processing excepts for I-40 and the power lines that cuts through the natural landscape. Arkansas is full of rivers, swamps, and forests. From all the landscapes from all the states we had traveled so far I thought Arkansas was the most beautiful. I wanted Arkansas to be my destination. I wanted to go cat fishing down the bayou but alas we still had a lot of miles to cover. As I contemplated about The Natural State I wonder how it got its name. I guess it got it's name bhy the way pirates pronounced nearby Arrg-Kansas.

The anthem of the road trip was Ridin by Chamillionare & Krayzie Bone. They see me rollin... Tryin to catch me ridin dirty... They hopin they gonna catch me ridin dirty... And then at one point in Arkansas I decided to turn on the radio and catch some of the local flavor and was a little surprised when I hear Hindi ballad coming through the speakers. Some Kochi Kochi Rakama song was jamming the Arkie airwaves in a public access radio station. After the Indian show was another Indian program, a 'Red Indian' show according to the Hindu Indian DJ that thought he should clarify a common source of misunderstanding.

My sister and I decided to stop in Little Rock, AR, and visit the Clinton Library. The Clinton Library is more like a museum because I didn't see any books, just displays of full of memorabilia of the legacy of Bill 'The Comeback Kid' Clinton. My favorite part of the museum is where they shows all the gifts that President Clinton received from heads of state such as the jeweled swords that received from monarchs in the Middle East. After spending some time looking over the history of Clinton's legacy we headed to the Flying Fish right on President Clinton Ave a few block down from the library. I don't know much about southern cooking but it seemed like the main ingredient was oil, everything else was just condiments or seasoning. We had fried orca, fried french fries, fried hushpuppies (which is fried nuggets of corn bread), fried corn on the cob, and fried cat fish.

With a full stomach we headed to Tennessee. We stop around midnight somewhere near Knoxville, TN, after traveling 697 miles that day.
